  • [Abstract]
This presentation considers the standard web-transfer protocol CoAP and the standard security protocol OSCORE for the Internet of Things (IoT), and provides a brief overview of related ongoing research work and standardization activities in the IETF. First, key management for OSCORE is covered, as to lightweight key establishment and key update. Second, end-to-end secure group communication is covered, as based on the security protocol Group OSCORE for message protection, and on the ACE framework for the authorized provisioning of group keying material as well as for the administration of security groups. Additional advanced features concerning the topics mentioned above will also be highlighted.
