I have just written an opinion on the proposal for a new master plan for the City of Stockholm in which you can find worthy formulations about what the City of Stockholm wants and have in mind for Kista. We at Kista Science City AB want to take this opportunity to highlight our opinion on some key issues for us:
We want Kista to be the area where the smart and connected city is both developed, tested and manifested. Work that is completely in line with our digital testbed Urban ICT Arena
We want to create a stronger connection to and from Kista, especially in northeastern Stockholm. Working to create smarter and more attractive travel journeys can reduce our dependence on cars.
We need more housing, but also the right kind of housing that are suitable for the scientific environment we are creating here.
We want to synchronize the City of Stockholm new master plan with the structural plan that we are currently formulating for Kista Science City.
