Tech Tuesday with KTH – Terahertz Communications Beyond 6G
Join KTH for a breakfast seminar on terahertz (THz) communications and their role in next-generation wireless networks.
While THz has long been used in imaging, radar, and spectroscopy, its potential for ultra-fast wireless networks has only recently gained attention. THz is often described as a key enabler of low-latency and highly secure wireless networks—but how much of this is realistic, and what hurdles remain in making it a cost-efficient, scalable technology?
At this Tech Tuesday session, Assistant Professor Vitaly Petrov will unpack the myths and misconceptions surrounding THz communications and explore the challenges in bringing it from theory to practical use.
