Seminar on Defence Electronics
(This event is by invitation only)
How prepared is Sweden for a future where advanced electronics and semiconductors underpin national defence?
On 22 January, we gather stakeholders from government, industry and research in Kista to explore this question in depth. This seminar explores Sweden’s strategic capabilities in defence electronics, covering national priorities, industry needs and the technologies that are essential in modern defence systems.
What to expect
The Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) will share findings from its ongoing review of semiconductor access in critical defence systems, highlighting key challenges and areas where stronger collaboration is needed.
A panel with representatives from FOI, the Ministry of Defence, SAAB and experts on the national semiconductor strategy will also examine Sweden’s position in the global defence electronics landscape, discussing current strengths, vulnerabilities and how international dynamics shape national resilience.
Who should attend?
The seminar suits organisations working with electronics in defence and security-critical systems. This includes system integrators, semiconductor and sensor developers, research institutes and policy actors involved in national technology and security matters. Invitation only.
