Exploring research and future directions in near-field wireless communication
On May 19, the SweWIN center at KTH Kista welcomes you to an event focused on near-field communications and sensing. The program consists of two connected parts: a KVA–JSPS Seminar, followed by a research workshop with local presentations.
The seminar opens with a keynote by Professor Koji Ishibashi from the University of Electro-Communications in Tokyo. This part is sponsored by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences (KVA).
After fika, the focus shifts to the SweWIN-organized workshop. Researchers from Stockholm will present work on topics such as beam generation, localization, and near-field propagation boundaries. The day ends with a panel discussion.
Who should attend?
This event is open to anyone but especially relevant for researchers, professionals and students working in wireless communications, signal processing, or antenna design. It also offers a valuable opportunity for anyone interested in near-field wireless technologies and research in the field.
The event is free of charge. Register now to secure your spot — and your fika!
